Watch Sohail Khan’s five wickets against England at Oval

OVAL: Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan has taken another five-wicket haul on the first day of fourth and final Test match at Oval.

Most importantly, he has taken the key wickets of England, removing in-form Alastair Cook first, then Chris Woakes and finally at the centenarian Moeen Ali.

Among all, his last spell is worth remembering where he took the remaining four wickets, at the time, when the partnership between Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes looked quite threatening.

Sohail Khan bowled 20.4 over for his five wickets against 68 runs. He bowled one maiden, that included prize wicket of Cook.

Much to our surprise, he bowled most balls today than any other bowler in Pakistan bowling attack and was most economical of all.

Here are the highlights of Sohail Khan’s performance on the first day of Oval Test:

Sohail Khan made his Test return at Edgbaston last week after six years where he took his first five-wicket-haul. He took seven overall. Pakistan lost the Test by 141 runs after a dramatic turnaround on last day. The ball began to reverse swing suddenly after lunch which Pakistan batsman could not handle.

Testing their own medicine, Pakistan middle order succumbed to Anderson and Finn’s fiery revers-swing show.
