OVAL: Pakistan bounce back as Cook, Root and Vince fall early

OVAL:Pakistan has bounce back in the game as skipper Alastair Cook and onedown batsman Joe Root fall quickly to Pakistan’s pace attack at Oval.

Update: James Vince removed from Wahab for 1. England are 74 \/4 now.

England are currently 73/3 after Alastair Cook (35) and Root (26) fell in back-to-back overs after the short drink break in first session of the Day 1 at Oval.

Cook was lucky earlier when he was dropped in the first slip by debutant Iftikhar Ahmed.

But, in the very next over, he chopped one on to the stumps that came quick from Sohail’s hand.

Joe Rot, in the very next over, edged one from Wahab, being in double mind either to play or leave it.

Making a comeback, Whab seems to be on fire in his first spell. He has the figures of 19/2 in five overs so far.

Pakistan have bounced back aggressively after consuming runs at the brisk rate of 4.4 per over in first 14 overs of the game.
