SWAT: A traffic officer in Swat was allegedly suspended from his duty on Thursday for on Thursday for fining the father of PTI MNA Murad Saeed over violation of traffic laws.
The move angered the young PTI MNA, who reportedly used his influence in the provincial government to get the warden suspended for doing his duty, SAMAA reported.
According to the challan, a copy of which is available with SAMAA, Saeed ullah, father of Murad Saeed, was slapped with fined the fine of Rs315 in cash for traffic violation at 11:19am today (Thursday).
A few hours after the incident, Traffic Officer Muhammad Hayat was sacked by his senior authorities.
A source revealed that the warden was suspended at the behest of MNA Murad Saeed.
