LAHORE: Pakistan’s renowned singer and musician Quratulain Balouch’s latest song “Saaiyaan” has crossed 1 million milestone in just less than a week.
Balouch, popularly known as QB, got the break of a lifetime in 2011, when she recorded a mega hit, soundtrack for Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s “Humsafar”.
“Saaiyaan” is a Sufi rock ballad penned by Punjabi poet philosopher Bulleh Shah and is composed by Salman Albert.
Qurat started her career in year 2011, with one of Reshma’s singles, Ankhian Nu Ren De and she later appeared on the fourth season of Coke studio for Tere Ishq Main with Jal.
A year later she represented Pakistan in a live performance with the Philharmonic Orchestra for BBC’s Queens of Melody.
