NEPRA cuts tariffs by Rs. 2.80 per unit

ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a cut down in the power tariffs by Rs.2.80 per unit on Thursday.

As per NEPRA’s official statement, the tariffs cut have come under the fuel adjustment for the month of June.

According to NEPRA Authorities, a relief of worth Rs.15 billion to the power consumers will be applicable in utility bills of August.

The reduction in tariffs will not be applicable for the users of K-Electrics.

Meantime, consumers who utilize less than 300 units will not be entitled to benefit from this relief.
