LONDON: Pakistan Cricket Team’s Lord’s win has sent shock waves across the English Cricket, as England’s Test captain Alastair Cook termed the famous push-ups celebration as inappropriate and disrespectful.
Earlier, Cook was fumed by Pakistan’s press-up celebration after Lord’s Test victory, and termed it as disrespectful and inappropriate.
Responding to his statement, England’s ODI captain Eoin Morgan rejected Cook’s views and said there was nothing disrespectful in Pakistan’s Lord’s celebration.
Eoin Morgan said, “I don’t think Pakistan’s celebrations at the end of the Lord’s match were disrespectful in any way”
Pakistan Test team celebrated the famous Lord’s win by saluting Pakistan Army trainers who spent two weeks with the team in boot camp and did push-ups to show they are still fit, as they were during the camp.
