LONDON: Pakistan’s left arm swashbuckling opening batsman Sharjeel Khan has so far been real pleasure to watch in his time with Pakistan A side on tour of England.
Sharjeel Khan, who made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in November 2014 with a half century in his opening game, has also attracted world’s attention during World T20 with his blistering innings against New Zealand and Australia.
During the ongoing tour, Sharjeel Khan has made an impact as an opening batsman. His 88-ball hundred today against England A, and blistering 90-runs innings against Sri Lanka A in the first match of tri-series has made selectors reconsider him for ODI and T20 series against England next month.
Earlier, Sharjeel stated while speaking to Pakpassion.com, that his plans are to perform good with A team and the make way into Pakistan senior team.
“Obviously, the initial target is for the A team to win the matches we have scheduled here and obviously as one of the more senior players here I want to help the youngsters and ensure they also learn as much as they can from this experience. This will only benefit Pakistan cricket in the long run,” Sharjeel told to Pakpassion.com.
