Two of Qandeel’s brothers nominated in FIR

MULTAN: A Firsthand Information Report (FIR) has been lodged in connection with infamous model Qandeel Baloch’s murder in Green Town Police Station of Multan.

The FIR has been lodged on complaint of Qandeel’s father Azeem. Her two elder brothers Waseem and Aslam Shaheen have been nominated in the report.

A case has been registered under Section 109 and 302 of Pakistan Penal Code. Police parties have been sent to DG Khan, where, according to police intelligence, both murderers have fled to.

Waseem was reportedly threatening Qandeel over her provocative videos and photos on social media, police said.

Meanwhile, Qandeel’s intimal post-mortem has confirmed that she was strangled to death at 2:30 AM on Saturday but stated there were no marks of torture on her body.

Earlier, Qandeel’s postmortem report revealed that she was brutally tortured before death. The report has ultimately

denied CPO Multan’s claim that ‘No sign of pre-death-torture were found on Qandeel’s body’.

The body has now been shifted to Lahore for forensic examination.
