SEOUL: Samsung has announced to launch its Galaxy S7 edge Olympics Games Limited Edition on July 18 in selected countries including United States, Brazil, China, Germany and Korea.
In United States, the phone is going to be released exclusively at Best Buy in a limited quantity.
The tech giant has also announced to give out Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympics Games Limited Edition along with the latest Gear IconX cord-free earbuds to all 12,500 Olympians, enhancing their experiences in Rio and communicate with their families and friends around the world.
The Gear IconX cord-free earbuds, which offer a new fitness experience with an in-ear heart rate monitor and standalone music player. When paired with smartphones, they can track fitness updates through the S Health app.
According to The News Global, S7 edge Olympics Games Limited Edition is not any different in specs than current Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. The only difference that Samsung made in the appearance of the phone is they added all the theme colors of Olympics rings into the phone’s design.
The phone has a yellow earpiece grill and yellow bezel of home key, a red power key, green volume rockers and blue camera dial and blue Olympics logo at the back.
The device also has pre-installed Olympics theme and an official Rio 2016 app which will provide all the information of the event such as schedule, venue, real-time updates and medal counts.
