ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Thursday announced pre Hajj operation to commence from August 4 and continue till September 5.
According to press release issued here, Post Hajj operation would start from September 17 and last till October 16.
Around 50,000 Hujjaj would be transported on PIA flights this year.
While following a no-profit no-loss policy for Hajj operation, PIA has already announced reduction in air fare for upcoming Hajj.
About Rs 4000 reduction has been notified in the fares, said an airline spokesman in a statement issued here said.
This year’s return fare for flights from Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore and Sialkot would be Rs 95,000 while Hajj pilgrims travelling from Karachi, Quetta and Sukkur will pay Rs 86,000, inclusive of all taxes.
