Broad terms Amir danger for English batsmen

LONDON: English fast bowler Stewart Broad declaring Mohammad Amir, a big threat for English batsmen during the Test series that commencing tomorrow, July 14.

Broad said that there was need of planning to create counter strategy for Amir’s swing bowling rather than talking about his past.

In his interview, he said leaving behind the past of the young fast bowler there was need to counter against his bowling as he bowled excellent spells in practice match.

Terming Lords wicket helpful for batsmen he said that the wicket would not helpful for fast bowlers and it would be challenging to bowl out 20 batsmen.

Earlier, in an unprecedented move, Arthur announced 12 players instead of 11, saying the playing XI will be decided before the toss, after scrutinizing the conditions.
