Salman Khan’s Sultan box office collection day 5

MUMBAI: Bollywood’s new king Salman Khan‘s latest flick Sultan is on a record breaking spree. The movie has smashed all records left, right and centre.

The film collected Rs 142.62 crore in just 4 day (Rs 36.54 crore on day 1, Rs 37.32 crore on day 2, Rs 31.66 crore on day 3 and Rs 37.10 crore on day 4).

This meant that the film had become the highest opening weekend grosser with a day to spare.

Yes, the film enjoyed a five day weekend and it is taking full advantage to set new benchmarks for other films to beat! We had heard that Sultan had a tremendous occupancy on Sunday too and we were going to see some CRAZY number and it seems like our reports were right.

The film collected Rs 38.21 crore on day 5 to take its total collection to a HUMONGOUS figure of Rs 180.36 crore on the end of the five day weekend.

Bollywoolife.com had predicted that the film would make Rs 175 crore at the end of the weekend. The thought was also backed by trade expert Amul Mohan (Editor of Super Cinema).

Amul said, “Sultan is performing phenomenally. It has all the potential to cross the Rs 175 crore mark now. The film is making more than Rs 30 crore everyday, which is unheard off. It is Sunday today, it is a holiday, so the numbers will be crazy.”
