LAHORE: Just before PM Nawaz Sharif’s return to country from a month-and-a-half long self imposed exile to London, an absurd scandal has unveiled on social media.
Twitterati of Pakistan have set up a trend against PM Nawaz which in English means “Pervert Prime Minister”.
The trend discusses an American TV reporter Kim Barker’s interview with KERA radio in which she reveals that she was approached and offered by then Opposition Leader Nawaz Sharif to be his Girlfriend.
Barker in her recently released book “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan”, recounts how Nawaz Sharif gave her an Apple iPhone as a gift and asked her to be his “special friend”.

When she declined Nawaz Sharif’s sexual advance, Foreign Policy Magazine reports that he offered to set her up with President Asif Ali Zardari.
