LAHORE: The Crescent of Shawwal has been sighted in Pakistan, tomorrow, July 6, they are going to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2016.
This the First time in the history of Pakistan that they are going to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with Saudi Arabia on the same day, Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
The meteorologist had already predicted that there are high chances in Pakistan for Shawwal moon sighting on the same day for both countries.
The Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, announced that Eid will be celebrated to its fullest around all over the country.
The places from where the testimony were collected are Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Lower Deer, Sanghar, etc
There has been many testimony collected of moon sighting from various parts of the country, though it has been very difficult in many regions due to weather challenges,
Before that it has also been predicted that the people of Pakistan will observe 30 days of Ramadan and it was considered less likely to celebrate EId on the same day in both of the countries.
In Pakistan the Ramadan has been observed for 29 days, while, in Saudi Arabia it was for 30 days.
