DHAKA: Islamic State terrorist group today released pictures of five gunmen who carried out a deadly assault at a Dhaka restaurant on Friday night.
At least 20 hostages including nine Italians and seven Japanese and one Indian teen were brutally murdered by the gunmen at a popular western-style Spanish restaurant in Dhaka’s diplomatic region last night.
Bangladesh army shot and killed all five attackers after several hours of siege.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack and released pictures of the suspected gunmen.
According to witnesses, gunmen spared those who were able to recite verses of Holy Quran during the carnage.
