DUBAI: As the Ramadan 2016 goes on with all its blessings and prosperity in UAE, the workers of public and private sectors are already planning for Eid al Fitr 2016 vacation which will coincide with summer holidays of the schools across the country.

If the month of Ramadan ends on 29th, Eid will fall on 5th July Tuesday, bringing two holiday for private sectors, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Since Thursday would be a working day, private sector employees can convert it into a 5-day weekend by obtaining a day’s leave on Thursday, to add to the weekend on Friday-Saturday.

Whereas, UAE’s public sector may have a straight 5-daybreak for Eid holidays.

However if the holy month ends on 3oth day, both public and private sector may enjoy a 4-day break for Eid Holidays.

Last year, UAE’s private sector enjoyed Eid holidays from 29th Ramadan till 3rd of Shawwal on the eve of Eid Al Fitr.
