KARACHI: For the first time in the history of Pakistan, names of journalists have been exposed in media who were in the assistance of terrorist organization in Karachi.The journalist who are accomplice, were offering their services in renowned local TV channel; Express, Dawn, ARY and Dunya News.
The mentioned blowed journalists were exposed during the Joint Interrogation (JIT) of MQM’s militant Minhaj Qazi. According to JIT report Minhaj confessed that he had committed 80 murders including KECS’s MD Shahid Hameed.
Moreover, Minhaj also laid the information bare about the Ashura’s bombing to the secret agencies and Law Enforcement agencies probing into the details.
 Media person namely Mohammad Ali Hafeez (Samaa reporter), Dawn news Reporters Mohammad Imran, Imran Hafeez, and Express News reporter Naeem Khanzada and Dunya News reporter Qaimkhani along with six other senior journalists have been exposed in Minhaj Qazi’s JIT report.
Sources have indicated that security agencies already had information about Samaa reporter M. Ali Hafeez‘s linked with MQM militants. Some of MQM’s militants from Burns Road and Nazimabad sector were also spotted during his wedding ceremony.
Sources have also suggested that Law Enforcers have evidences against Dawn News reporter Imran Hafeez’s alleged assistance of MQM target killers, land grabbers and people involved in China Cutting for a handsome amount of money.
Another reporter of Dawn News, Mohammad Imran is told to be in the ‘hit-list’ of security agencies. He was once arrested before but was released on intervention from one of the ‘big names’ from PPP.
However, the parent organizations have yet not revealed any official statement regarding exposed journalists.
