ISLAMABAD- Registration process for Competitive Exams i.e. CSS exam is going to be online completely and also the examinations and paper markings would be conducted online.
As per the details, following the introduction of online applications facility, examinations and paper markings under the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) competitive exams against different posts is going to be computerized soon.
Previously, applicants were required ton submit 4-5 applications along with attested photo copies of documents, CNICs and photos, now they would not be required to do that. They can easily apply online.
National Information Technology Board (NITB) has kicked off a new project for the FPSC where exams and papers would be checked through computer that would result in more accuracy, reduce chances of errors and save time.
Currently NITB is facilitating FPSC with advisory services on these subjects,

In the meanwhile, some e-government projects are being delayed and NITB will surrender millions of rupees by the end of current financial year, after it failed to culminate the recruitment process even in two years.
These projects also include the FPSC and computerization of Prime Minister Secretariat. NITB is going to surrender Rs 5.025 million in PM secretariat project.
However, 24 out of 60 posts are still vacant at the department; hence it is not being run at full capacity.
