MUMBAI- Abhishek Bachchan finally spoke up on the Panama issue and his father, Amitabh Bachchan and wife, Aishwarya Rai’s names present in the papers.
He says that he doesn’t think that coming up their names In Panama Papers has tarnished the family name.
When inquired about the revelations and whether they harmed the family reputation, he said, “That’s your side of the story. Let the government do what they have to do. Let them decide and when the facts come out, I think you might not be asking that question,” reports IndianExpress.
In response to the question, he reportedly added, “No I don’t. The job of the media is to report. You do that. Then it is up to the authorities that be to decide the veracity of that report. So I think the right thing to do is to wait for that to happen. There is complete cooperation from the family to cooperate with the powers that be.”
It is pertinent to mention here that the 1st tranche of Panama Papers, the biggest data leak disclosed the names Big B, Amitabh Bachchan and the Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bahchan.
