Wahab Riaz overlooks boot camp for county

LAHORE: Pakistan premier fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been allowed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to leave boot camp for his county commitments, TheNewsribe.com reported.

According to local media reports, Wahab will fly to London tonight to represent Essex in T2o County Championship.

Wahab was part of 35-player squad invited for boot camp and fitness camp program in Abbottabad under Army trainers before England tour.

Wahab was permitted to leave camp for county on grounds that the league will help him get familiar with England conditions.

It is pertinent to mention here that Wahab Riaza was among those 33 players out of 35 who failed the first running test. Only 2 players, the fittest in the lot, Faad ALam and Shan Masood could pass that first test in boot camp.
