ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Awami League Sheikh Rasheed has stated that he knew who will be next Prime Minister after Nawaz Sharif’s impending resignation, but he would not take any name.
Sheikh Rasheed was talking to media in Islamabad after attending a meeting with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s (PTI) core committee to discuss the strategy for today’s parliament session.
Sheikh Rasheed told media that he has just had a meeting with Khan Sahab and that he [Imran Khan] will address media before and after the session.
He further said Mr Khan will also make a speech in the parliament along with main opposition leaders.
While responding to question from a reporter, Sheikh Sahab with crooked smile said though he knew who will be next PM, but he would not reveal the name as yet.
It is worth mentioning here that today is being considered as an historical day in parliament’s history as Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to answer Opposition’s 7 proposed question regarding Panamagate and his offshore accounts.
