PSL 2 final to be played at Lahore, Najam Sethi

KARACHI: The chairman Pakistan Super League (PSL) Najam Sethi is hopeful that the final of league’s second edition will be played in Lahore.

During an interview with BBC,  Mr Sethi state that they will talk to players while signing contracts with them as to whether they are willing to play the final in Lahore and the board is even willing to pay an extra amount in order to convince them.

Najam Sethi showed confidence on Punjab government that it will give security clearance for PSL 2017 final.

PSL chairman also maintained that due to constant hike in the cost of organizing matches in UAE, PCB is weighing its options to hold home series against West Indies in Sri Lanka.

“We’re not bound to hold our Future Tours Programme (FTP) series in the UAE, so Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can be considered as alternate options for our home series as playing there is affordable in comparison,” reported The Express Tribune.
