NEW YORK- Facebook owned picture-sharing app, Instagram has changed its iOS and Android app with an innovative and commendable app icon.
Instagram’s innovative design has exchanged the Polaroid inspired camera with rainbow infection for more advanced and interactive look.
According to Instagram’s head of design Ian Spalter, the purpose of the great modification was to get the design more coordinated with the aesthetics of the app’s users.
“The Instagram logo and design was beginning to feel, well… not reflective of the community, and frankly we thought we could make it better.”
Ian Spalter writes in a post.
The company besides changing the Logo is also introducing some pictorial twists to its flagship app. The adulate black and white design we first speckled previous month is formally coming to Instagram’s iOS and Android apps.
With the innovative design, both apps now have a cleaner, less colorful design. All in-app text is now black and white and notification icons have been transformed from orange to red.
Instagram is of the view that the new black-and-white look is meant to put more highlighting on users’ photos and videos instead of the app itself.
“While the logo is a colorful doorway into the Instagram app, once inside the app, we believe the color should come directly from the community’s photos and videos.”
