Arrangements made to welcome Ali Haider Gilani home

ISLAMABAD- Ali Haider Gilani, son of former Prime Minister, Yousuf Rza Gilani is supposed to arrive homeland soon. His brother, Ali Qasim Gilani has gone to receive him.

As per the details, Ali Haider Gilani has been taken to the Pakistan Embassy in Afghanistan, while his brother has reached the Kabul airport. Security arrangements are being made to ensure safety.

Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has sent special plane to receive the captive Ali. He has been handed over to Pakistani ambassador by Afghan authorities.

First glimpse after three years shows a happy and healthy Ali who will reach Lahore in the special aircraft. Security measures are being made to take him home safely.

Former PM Yousuf Raza was on his way to a Pakistan People’s Party rally at Bagh Azad Kashmir when he received a phone call from the foreign office, and then talked to his son. “I talked to my son while I was on my way,” said a jubilant Gilani, addressing the rally.

The news was broke by Pakistan Peoples Part, PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari through his tweet.

His brother Abdul Qadir Gilani who shares a birthday with Ali Haider said that for the last three years he has not celebrated his birthday. “But now I will,” he says.
