LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after consultation with selection committee has replied Ahmed Shehzad’s apology letter he wrote previous day.
According to local media reports, PCB has refused to bring in opening batsman for England tour.
“You are in focus for future tours, but you cannot be added to the boot camp for England tour on immediate basis,” a excerpt from PCB’s responding letter to Ahmed Shehzad.
Earlier, Shehzad had wrote a apology letter to PCB and assured that he will improve his behavior and will bring positive changes in his attitude.
It is worth mentioning here Shehzad was dropped from PCB’s 35-man initial squad announced for England tour preparations, along with Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal.
