Modi’s degrees alleged as fake

NEW DELHI- Amid ongoing spat between the opposition party named, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), AAP has alleged Prime Minister Modi’s degrees to be fake.

As per the details, BJP President Amit Shah and his party colleague Arun Jaitley disclosed two degrees to claim that Modi secured a  bachelor of arts degree from Delhi University and masters of arts degree from Gujarat University, days after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal questioned the PM’s qualification.

But the senior AAP leader, Ashutosh responded by rejecting this proof. He contended, “In the mark sheet dated 1977, the name of the student is Narendra Kumar Damodardas Modi. In the degree, issued in 1979, the name is Narendra Damoderdas Modi. This is not possible. If he changed his name, there should be an affidavit to show that. I changed my name so I know the procedure.”

According to the documents released by AAP, the name of the student kept changing between 1975 and 1978.

In the mark sheets issued in 1975, 1976 and 1977 the name of the candidate is Narendra Kumar Damodardas Modi, Narendra Damoderdas Mody and Narendra Kumar Damodardas Mody, respectively.

In the mark sheet issued in 1978, the name is Narendra Damoderdas Modi.

The BA degree, professedly issued by the Delhi University in 1979, says that the PM completed his graduation in 1978.
