LAHORE: Amir Zia Shami, the nephew of Chief Editor Daily Pakistan Mujibur Rehman Shami passed away after brief illness in Lahore on Friday night, DailyPakistan reported.
He was around 50. He has left behind his widow, two sons and one daughter. He was son of Ziaur Rahman Shami former Chairman Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC). He had been unwell for some time, and was admitted to Services Hospital last week.
His namaz-i-janaza will be offered on today (Saturday)at 5pm at Jamia Mosque Al-Quds, Government Cooperative Housing Society, Peco Road, Township Lahore.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, in a message, condoled the death and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and patience for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
