Aftab Hussain’s autopsy reports released

KARACHI: Slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Aftab Hussain’s post-mortem report has been released Thursday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Aftab Hussain who died in Rangers custody two days ago was PA of senior MQM leader Farooq Sattar.

According to report, Aftab’s autopsy was conducted under supervision of magistrate Kaleemulah Kalhoro. The report reveals that major marks of torture were found on seven body parts of the victim, including his both arms, legs, head and chest.

“Multiple bruises found, which are variable in size in different regions of the body,” it said.

The postmortem report has no words on actual cause of Aftab Ahmed’s death that could only be ascertained by a chemical report.

The body had red and black coloured wounds on different parts, the report said, adding that there is gape of 12 to 36 hours between his injuries and death.

His autopsy was conducted in Karachi’s Jinnah hospital.
