FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has announced the new date for its Faisalabad Jalsa, thenewstribe.com reported.
According to the party spokesperson, Naeem ul Haq, anti-corruption campaign’s public meeting will be on May 20th.
Earlier, the public meeting was canceled by the party chief on Wednesday.
PTI spokesperson Naeemul Haq told the media that the Faisalabad gathering postponed due the misbehaviour with party women workers, PTI Chief Imran Khan will announce new date after the identification of culprits behind the sad incidents.
There was a different claim in Local media reports than the official reason of cancelation of the Faisalabad meeting.
Different private channels while quoted to the sources, claimed that Faisalabad Jalsa has been called due to the rift in PTI ranks.
Furthermore, Imran Khan has formed the committee under the leadership of party’s former provincial chief Aijaz Chuhdhry, the committee will probe the allegations framed by Faisalabad’s local leadership over former organiser of Faisalabad Jalsa.
According to the new information, Aijaz Chuhdhry will organise the newly announced Jalsa.
