Seven home remedies to treat split ends

Trimming is the most common and effective way to treat split ends but sometimes even trimming does not work. Here are few remedies that are right up your kitchen shelf,

Eggs

Beat an egg along with almond, olive oil or honey. Apply this as a hair mask and rinse after half an hour. This will leave you free from split ends.

Mayonnaise

First wet and then dry your hair with towel. Apply half a cup of mayo and keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo.

Bananas

Bananas are filled with natural oils, potassium, zinc, iron, and vitamins A, C and E. Blend one banana with two tablespoons of curd, a few drops of rose water and lemon juice. Apply it and leave for an hour, then rinse. Do this once or twice a week.

Papaya

Mic ripe papaya and half cup of curd to get a pulpy paste, then apply it on hair for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.

Cream

Whip a tablespoon of cream with half cup of milk and apply this mixture to your hair for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.

Honey

Take a spoon full of honey with some curd and apply this on the tips of your hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse it.

Dal

Grind black lentils into a smooth powder. Mix a spoon of fenugreek seeds to it and mix this with cup of curd. Leave it for two hours and rinse it with a mild shampoo.
