Captaining Pakistan is not walking on roses: Afridi

KARACHI: Former Twenty20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi has stated that captaining Pakistan is not like walking on roses, ‘it is very very tough job.” TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Talking to media in Karachi, the firebrand all-rounder stated that he always wanted end his career on high, but unfortunately things went wrong for him.

Commenting on selection committee’s decisions, Afridi stated that Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal should now consider their mistakes for they have been dropped.

He went on to say that people say there is lot of talent in Pakistan, but always 11-member team is selected from a poll of 20-25 players.

“Why can’t we see that so called talent in our domestic circuit?” asked Afridi.
