Autopsy of MQM’s Aftab Hussain completed

KARACHI: Autopsy process of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) slain worker Aftab Hussain has been completed in Jinnah Hospital Karachi, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Headed by senior medico-legal officer (MLO) Jinnah Hospital Dr Kaleem, a five-member board performed Aftab’s autopsy. Details have not been shared with media so far.

However, Dr Seemi Jamali, the in-charge of the hospital’s emergency department, told media that Hussain had a heart problem and his pulse had died before being carried to hospital. “He was ventilated for our fifteen minutes but that went in vain,” told the doctor.

Aftab Hussain was arrested by Rangers two days ago from his residence at Federal-B (FB) Block 14, on Sunday.

Rangers had acquired 90-day remand of late Hussain on Monday.

Hussain had been associated with MQM since 1990 and has been serving as Sattar’s coordinator since 2002. Sources revealed that he has been arrested from his residence by undercover cops.
