HYDERABAD: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will encounter Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 27th match of Indian Premier League (IPL 2016) at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.
SRH have three wins and as many defeats. In their most recent outing – a truncated match on Tuesday, David Warner’s side lost to Rising Pune Supergiants after posting a below-par 118-8.
Royal Challengers Bangalore are back in action after a 5-day break. RCB have two wins from five matches – a stat that doesn’t do justice to the riches they have in their team.

RCB won in the previous meeting between the two sides, but much water have flowed under the bridge since then with Sunrisers demonstrating great improvement. Sunrisers have a decent six points from an equal number of matches, having won and lost three games each.
Though they lost to Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders in their first two matches, Sunrisers went on to win their next three matches against Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions and Kings XI Punjab.
