Four cops, two terrorists injured in Karachi encounter

KARACHI: At Least four coups and two most wanted terrorists have been injured in a police encounter at Manghopir’s Kuwari Colony, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to initial reports, CTD police on a tip off carried out a raid in Kuwari Colony. Citing the arrest, the terrorists opened fire on police party, injuring four. A denounced terrorist namely Nawaz belonging to Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed and two others were arrested. Another extremist succeeded to flee the scene.

A pedestrian was also injured during cross-firing in the area.

Additional police contingent and medical teams rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. Casualties have been shifted to near by hospital whereas police has launched a door-to-door search operation in the area.
