LAHORE: Prime Minister Miyan Mohammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday finally agreed to change Terms of Reference (TOR)s of commission formed to probe Panama Papers leaks.
Talking to media in Governor Houe Punjab, PM Nawaz presented himself for the accountability and said “Chief Justice can change or amend TORs, and the commission can start its investigation from myself.”
Earlier, government had set TORs for the commission which unanimously rejected by opposition parties.
The development has come hours after Chief justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali returned from his official 5-day Turkey visit last night.
It is pertinent to mention here that opposition parties specially PTI has demanded a probe in Panama Leaks under Chief Justice’s supervision.
