Pakistan Cup: Punjab restrict Sindh to 158

FAISALABAD: Courtesy to brilliant bowling performance by Ehsan Adil and Zulfiqar Babar, Punjab rolled up Sindh to 158 in 47th over in 10 encounter of Pakistan Cup 2016, at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

After winning the toss, Sindh captain Sarfraz Ahmed opted to bat first. But, the decision did not prove to be a wise one as first four wickets tumbled on just 35 runs.

Sarfraz Ahmed and Fawad Alam added 85 runs for the fifth wicket partnership, but after Sarfraz’s (40) unfortunate dismissal, Sindh kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 158 in 47th over.

Fawad Alam was the top scorer for his 62 off 99 balls.

Ehsan Adil (3/24) and Zulfiqar Babar (3/34) were pick of the bowlers from Punjab.
