KPK coach unhappy with Younis Khan’s return

FAISALABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) former captain Younis Khan’s return in the ongoing Pakistan Cup has taken a new as KPK coach Kabir Khan has threatened to resign if Younis added to the team.

KPK coach, who has the additional powers of team’s selector, has refused to perform his responsibilities over Younis Khan’s return to the team.

Sources also confirmed Yonis Khan and Kabir Khan had exchange of harsh words during the tournament.

It is pertinent to mention here that Younis Khan had left the tournament in midway to fly back home after indulging in a row with umpire Shozab Raza over a controversial decision.

Younis, when contacted by PCB chief Shahryar Khan, accepted his mistake and apologized for his unwise decision.

He also submitted a written apology in response to a show cause notice he was served on Monday. Accepting his apology, PCB chief had allowed him back in the tournament on Tuesday.
