MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini sent social media in a tizzy when she posted a congratulatory tweet to Deepika on her engagement.
She tweeted, “Deepika, All good wishes on ur engagement! Pray God both of u have a bright future, happiness & joy in ur life together.”

Naturally all fans of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were thrilled and started sending their best wishes too.
However, there were a few others who had the sense and patience to confirm once if it was, in fact, Deepika Padukone or some other person. As it turned out, it wasn’t Ms Paduone or Singh that the veteran actress was congratulating; it was one of her followers on Twitter.
Hema clarified saying, “No no! This is Deepika who is following me on Twitter! Not Ms Padukone!”
