FAISALABAD: Courtesy to Ahmed Shehzad s captain’s knock, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has set a mammoth target of 320 runs for Sindh in the 23rd encounter of Pakistan Cup 2016, at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
After winning the toss, KPK captain Ahmed Shehzad opted to bat first and added 176 runs for the first wicket partnership with Fakhar Zaman.
Zaman was first to depart for his 68 on the total of 176, but Shehzad went on to complete his magnificent hundred. He scored 143 off 135 balls.
He added 76 runs for the second wicket along with Zohaib Khan (27), who was promoted up the order.
The middle order capitalised the start given by top order, with Bismillah Khan (25), and then little cameo from Adil Amin (20 off 10) and Fahim Ashraf (20 off 11) ended their innings on 219/6.
Roman Raees, Bilal Asif and Mohamamd Amir bagged 2 wickets each.
