ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf Imran Khan has offered apology to all the women in PTI’s Sunday mass gathering over miss-conduct with them, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
PTI chief took Twitter to render an apology to female workers who fell to prey to mishap during the Youm-e- Tasees (Foundation Day) public gathering in F9 Park, Islamabad on Sunday.
In a series of tweets, Mr Khan assured party’s female workers that ‘whatever happened on Sunday, will not happen again.”
“I want to apologise to all our women for what happened to them at the Youm-i-Tahsees jalsa in Islamabad. have set up a committee which will examine what happened incl seeing video evidence so that the guilty can be punished. We will not allow this to ever happen again & we are ensuring strict measures to protect our women at our jalsas, beginning with Lahore,” tweeted Mr Khan.
