Mine blast kills FC personnel in Kurram Agency

KURRAM: One FC Official has been killed and two wounded in mine blast on Friday in Lower Kurram Agency of federally administrated tribal area.

Political administration has told that the incident took place near Shaheedano Dand in the lower Kurram agency.

The landmine was planted near security check post and it has targeted the officials who were patrolling the area.

The injured FC official has been shifted to hospital after the incident.

Security forces surrounded the area after the blast and started search operation, added political administration.

The banned TTP has been claimed the responsibility of the incident that their fighters carried out the attack.

Spokesperson of the banned TTP stated that Taliban fighters have been attacked the security forces check post but local officials have denied the statement.
