LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering former bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed’s name for interim head coach of Pakistan crick team.
According to sources, PCBÂ wants to have a local interim coach for a period of next two-to-three months for foreign names under consideration are ‘busy’ for given time period.
Since Pakistan has to play England in June and July, PCB therefore wants an interim head coach to look after the matters unless a permanent coach is appointed.
Mushtaq Ahmed has served Pakistan and England cricket teams as spin bowling coach.
