Three reasons kids should not watch ‘The Jungle Book’ alone

Jungle book would leave you in nostalgia for many of you have watched the Jungle Book movie and cartoons religiously. Even now we can remember the evil Sher Khan, the scary snake and its hypnotic eyes. But it was the cartoon version which we enjoyed, the new version is not that amusing, rather is it is unforgiving and scary. So, do not let your kids watch it alone.

Here are a few reasons you should watch the movie with your kids,

Story

Script is largely derived from the original book and the fresh narrative makes it edgier and appealing but to the adults. This story is more for grownups than kids unlike the previous versions. The 3D effects are unforgiving and the animals seem to jump right at the viewers.

Animation

The entire film has been shot in downtown Los Angeles and not a single bit of it is shot in the real jungle and yet the movie makes you feel as if you were lost in the thick jungles, now that’s commendable. The live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in an enchanting and lush world can give the kids sleepless nights.

Characters

Except Neel Sethi who is portraying Mowgli everything is animated. There are live flesh animals

Fighting, jumping and biting. Everything seems so real that you feel you are just being with the characters. This is a positive feature of a movie but not for kinds. Even the Censor Board in India termed it as so scary for kids.
