LAHORE: Former Pakistan coach Mohsin Hasan Khan has stated he will refuse to be interviewed by Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja for the role of head coach, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Mohsin gave this statement during an interview with local TV channel.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formed a two-member committee comprising of Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja to help board finding a suitable coach for Pakistan team.
He was earlier offered Chief Selector’s post fro Pakistan Cricket Board but he refuse to take this offer and rather insisted to become head coach of Pakistan Cricket Team.
Mohsin was of the opinion that the team had performed really well during his tenure, thus, he should be give another chance for the role.
Before Mohsin, former bowling Pakistan coach Aqib Javed had also showed distrust towards the committee saying ‘they [Wasim, Ramiz] are more inclined towards foreign coach.’
