ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Khurshid Shah on Tuesday presented himself for accountability in the wake of allegations levelled by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan against him.
Speaking in the National Assembly, he said that being a politician he only upheld welfare of people and never used his portfolio for personal gains.
“My past and present is neat and clean and I present myself for accountability, “he said.
He said that he held several ministries in his political career and there was not a single case of corruption against him.
Shah asked for constitution of a parliamentary committee for scrutiny of allegations levelled against him.
Leader of the Opposition said he would quit National Assembly seat if found guilty of any wrong doing by the probe committee. –APP
