Won’t apply for Pakistan head coach: Aqib Javed

DUBAI: Former Pakistan paceman and current UAE head coach Aqib Javed has ruled out nay chances to apply for Pakistan head coach post.

Talking to a local TV in Pakistan, Aqib said in current scenario when PCB is running behind Tom Mody and Dean Jones, applying for head coach post is like insulting himself.

He was of the opinion that UAE officials give him lot of respect and thus he will not leave UAE coaching.

Aqib Javed has been head coach of Pakistan under-19 2004  World Cup winning team. He left as bowling coach of Pakistan in 2012 to join UAE as head coach.

Aqib had earlier stated that he has not applied for Pakistan head coach post because he knew board is looking for a foreign head coach.
