Police invites Saloon owner to lodge FIR against NAB Official and wife

KARACHI: Deputy Director of National Accountability Bureau Osaf Mir Talpur’s wife threatened owner of Envy saloon in Karachi and the owner later stated that Police pressurized them to into a settlement.

Talpur’s wife Hina Khan allegedly assaulted Haya Ali, daughter of actress Shagufta Ijaz and threatened her of consequences following an assault on her guard by men identifying themselves as government officers at her saloon.

NAB spokesperson later stated that Talpur was acting in his personal capacity and denied that NAB resources were misused by the said officer whereas, Haya maintained police pressurized them into settlement when their tried to lodge FIR.

Karachi Police taking notice of the issue after several media reports called the owners of Envy Saloon and invited them to lodge an FIR against the said official and his wife. Haya Ali posted on her Facebook.

Just got a call from the police station and we’re requested to come down whenever we like and lodge an FIR. Oh how the tables have turned!!

Talking to the News Tribe.com representative Haya Ali confirmed that she would pursue take the legal course of action against Deputy Director NAB Osaf Mir Talpur, his wife Hina Khan and others who assaulted her guard and harassed her staff at the saloon.
