LAHORE: Over 35 suspects were arrested during police search operation in various areas here in Lahore on Friday morning, 10 people were also arrested for violation of Rent Act.
Over 35 suspects were arrested during grand search operation in Moon Market, Iqbal Town while 10 suspects were arrested for violating Rent Act during search operation near Multan Road area of Sabzazar.
According to police five cases are being registered at Sabzazar police station under Rent Act. During the joint operation by Operation and Investigation police credentials of the renters were minutely checked and biometric device was used to verify the particulars of the people.
Those producing identification were released.
