LAHORE: Former legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram hailed board’s decision to appoint Sarfraz as T20 captain and urged PCB to bring one captain for all three formats.
While talking to a local TV channel, King of Swing stated that board should appoint Sarfraz as the captain of all three formats, because “our players can hardly follow one leader, how will they follow three?”
Akram, who is also part of two-member committee formed by PCB to assist in coach hunt, said that no matter a national or international, Pakistan coach should be t he one who comes up with a ‘complete plan.’
Wasim desired a coach who does who plans to take develop Pakistan cricket.
We don’t want a coach who wants leave after every series. ‘PCB offers a handsome amount to Pakistan head coach, thus he should not only work with Pakistan national team, but also with Pakistan A team and Under-19 guys whenever gets sometime free.”
