LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Monday made several vital decisions in the light of Fact Finding Committee’s report but did not disclose all.

Ummat has reported from its sources that PCB, under committee’s recommendations has decided to keep Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz and Ahmed Shehzad out from cricket.

The committee, as per sources close to PCB, has confirmed that grouping did take place in the national side during the team’s World T20 campaign. The body has also stated that the performance of Wahab Riaz, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad and Shoaib Malik was “surprisingly below the standard”.

Sources have added that the probe committee has suggested PCB to impose an announced or unannounced ban on the four players.

They will be asked to play all form of domestic cricket during the time.

On the other hand, Afridi is desperate to make way in team, because his sponsors want him to play for next for years.

The committee also gave him clean chit to play as a player in the team but conditioned his inclusion with fitness and performance in domestic cricket.
